Chasing a Memory
Summary
“Nothing revives the past so completely as a smell that was once associated with it.” - Vladimir Nabokov
In the past, every time someone would walk by wearing the same cologne you used, my heart would skip a beat, thinking you would walk up to me, grab my hand, and control my life once again...something I had grown used to and had loved. I loved everything about you. Now it's only a memory, and I'm left with nothing but an ache in my heart and the smell of your cologne and the smell of you. That scent could be the only thing that could save you, if I can accomplish it.
